GREEN BROOK FRATERNAL ORDER OF POLICE LODGE 23 ENDORSES TOM
TSIVGAS FOR GREEN BROOK TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE

Green Brook FOP 23, representing the Officers and Supervisors of the Green Brook Police Department, endorses Tom Tsivgas for Green Brook Township Committee. In a statement issued by the Lodge “The FOP follows no political party line; we support candidates that we feel have the best interests of the community in mind. Now more than ever, Green Brook needs a strong community leader, one who will put the needs of the community before partisan politics. We believe that leader to be Tom Tsivgas. Mr. Tsivgas’ bi-partisan, community first approach to Government, and his assurance of an open and ongoing dialogue are a much-needed change. Therefore, the Green Brook FOP is proud to endorse Tom Tsivgas for Township Committee.”

Tom Tsivgas is honored by the support of the FOP saying, “I have the utmost respect for our uniformed officers and public safety officials and I am humbled by the FOP’s endorsement of my candidacy. If elected, I strive to work together with the police department to find the most efficient and cost effective ways of protecting the needs of our community. By working together with a common goal of community first, I believe like the FOP, that the interests of Green Brook Township will be first and foremost.”

Township Committee members Ed Pfeifer and Grace Diaz agreed. “Tom has the respect of our police department and with this, we can work as a team towards solutions for our community” said Mr. Pfeifer. “Tom is a skilled negotiator and team builder – both by nature and by profession. His ability to create bridges in discussion will be a plus for Green Brook Township in working towards positive results for the town” said Ms. Diaz.

Green Brook Township Committee election takes place on general election day of November 2, 2010.
